We understand that choosing your wedding dress is one of the most important decisions you’ll make when planning your wedding. We also know that having the option to try it on prior to purchasing can make all the difference, which is why we launched Try-at-Home!

For brides and bridesmaids unable to travel for an in-store appointment you can now try on your favorite Vow’d dresses prior to making the final purchase – All without ever leaving home.

 

Here’s how it works:

 

STEP 1

Pick Your Own Adventure

We’ve designed 2 unique ways to take advantage of our Try-at-Home program.

  1. Virtual Appointment: Ideal for the bride who is still narrowing down her favorite styles, this is a 60-min. consultation with a dedicated stylist who will help you define your bridal style, offer fit and styling advice, and hand pick and ship your dresses. BOOK AN APPOINTMENT
     
  2. Phone Consultation: You’re busy, and we get that. To expedite the Try-at-Home process you can call our Customer Support team to place your order over the phone. You’ll answer a few short questions and provide your measurements. It’s that easy. CALL US

 

STEP 2

Ship it, Ship it Good

Choose 1- 3 Vow’d dresses to complete your try-at-home box. Our stylists will pack and ship your selection for just $15 per style. This price includes shipping & handling both ways! More details in our FAQs below.

 

 

STEP 3

Take a Twirl, Beautiful

Once your box arrives you have 7 days to dance, twirl and selfie with your dresses of choice. We recommend inviting a few close friends and family to help narrow in on the one. No pressure!

Say Yes & Forget the Rest

If you’ve found “the one” you can either choose to keep the try-on dress sample shipped to you with a 15% off discount, or return the try-on sample and order your dress online. Should you choose to keep the try-on dress contact us to process the payment.

For styles you’ve decided not to keep, we’ve made returns super simple. Just repackage the dresses in their original packaging and attach the enclosed return label.

Try-at-Home FAQs

 

Is there a maximum number of try-at-home dresses I can order?
Yes! We limit boxes to 3 dresses or less. Should you want to try-on additional styles we ask that your return your initial order prior to ordering another box.

 

How long will it take to receive my try-on dress samples?
Try-at-Home orders take 1-3 days to process, plus an additional 1-10 days for delivery. All try-at-home boxes are shipped standard ground. We cannot expedite orders at this time.

 

Will I receive try-on dresses in my exact size?
We strive to send dresses in as close to your measurements as possible, giving you a realistic representation of what the dress will look like on the big day - minus any alterations.

 

How long can I keep the dresses?
You get to keep the try-on dresses for 1 week or 7 days from the delivery date (as shown on the tracking number) and then send those back to us using the prepaid return label included in your box and order your final dress.

Should you not return the dresses within the allotted time frame you will be charged for the full cost of the dress(es).

 

How do I return my try-on dress samples?
We include a prepaid return label inside the box with your dresses. The label with include a barcode, our return address information, and is self-sticking. All you need is tape to reclose the box!

Please be sure to drop-off your package at a UPS location or drop box. You CANNOT return the packaging at USPS or FedEx. We do not recommend using your own return label. Should you choose to use another label, other than the one provided, you take full responsibility of the package. Should the package get lost or stolen you could be charged for not returning the dresses.

NOTE: Try-on dresses must be returned in the original condition that they were received, with the tags still attached. Try-on dress samples are for try-on purposes only and should not be worn outside the ship-to location. Should a sample be returned damaged or in otherwise unsellable condition (dirty, stained, coated in animal hair, or have a strong odor) you may be charged a restocking fee of up to $75.

 

Why does Try-at-Home cost $15?
The nominal fee we charge for Try-at-Home goes towards the shipping and handling of the try-on dresses, both ways. This cost is not refunded upon return of the try-on dress samples and does not go towards the total cost of your final purchase.

 

Can I keep my try-on dress sample?
If you would like to keep one of your try-on dresses, you are able to purchase it within your return window using the following instructions:

  1. Make sure you take the dress out of its packaging, examine it for any defects, and try it on to be sure it’s the correct size, color, and style.
  2. Call or email Customer Support to process the order, they can use the credit card you have on file or you can choose to update your credit card information at this time.
  3. Once your order is processed you must promptly ship back the other try-on dress samples from your tray-at-home box.

Try-on Dresses that have been returned or are in transit back to us cannot be purchased. Returned orders cannot be reshipped back to you.

 

Can I return a try-on dress sample I decided to purchase?
Try-on dresses purchased with the 15% off promotional discount are nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
